Our Director - David Rogers
David Rogers has been directing barbershop since 1984 and has over 25 years of experience in both directing and singing barbershop. In addition to directing, Dave is also an accomplished arranger of barbershop music. Under Rogers’ direction, the Jeffersonland Chorus scored it highest score ever at the 2008 district contest in Reston, VA. performing his arrangements of Take Me Out to the Ball Game and Heart.
Dave arrangement of Take Me Out to the Ball Game includes parts of the famous Abbot and Costello comedy sketch and an off timing segment that gets a great reaction from a the audience. Heart capitalized on the Ball Game theme with a heartfelt tribute to the teams poor performance, and a reminder to always be cheerful.
