Rehearsals
The chapter meets every Monday night at 7:30 pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church at Ivy and Alderman Roads in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Rehearsals are open to the public so anyone is invited to come and listen if that is their pleasure. Visitors are also welcome to sit in and sing a few songs with the chorus or quartet during a rehearsal if you just want explore the waters.
A typical rehearsal consists of an opening song “The Old Songs”, working on new music, singing a few songs already in the repertoire, and having fun with a few tags, which are the melodious endings to many barbershop songs. You may also find us working on quartet singing with such activities as impromptu "Tap Out" quartets. We always close our rehearsals with the Barbershop Harmony Society Theme “Keep The Whole World Singing”
